Since we opened our doors in 2019, Plenty of Rooms has upheld consistent, high standards for servicing and cleaning our homes. Our professional team is dedicated to providing clean and safe homes for both our guests and owners during every stay.
Building on our standard cleaning guidelines, we’ve now introduced expanded measures with our new program: Plenty of Rooms Premium Clean. This initiative meets or exceeds industry cleaning recommendations and aligns with guidance from hospitality experts to better support and protect the Plenty of Rooms community.
Actions We're Taking to Ensure Health and Safety
As part of our Premium Clean program, we’re implementing several measures to promote the health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and teams.
✓ Enhanced Disinfection: We’ve added an extra disinfection step to our cleaning process.
✓ Increased Cleaning Time: Our housekeepers now spend additional time ensuring each Plenty of Rooms home is meticulously cared for.
Health and safety measures for our team
✓ Employee Health Protocols: If an employee shows signs of illness or reports contact with someone suspected of having COVID-19, they will not be permitted to work.
✓ Maintenance Requests: We evaluate guest maintenance requests based on urgency. Non-emergency issues will be addressed after check-out. For urgent matters requiring immediate attention, guests will be asked to either leave the home temporarily or stay in a different room from the employee.
Sanitizing and disinfecting
To ensure a safe and healthy environment, we have implemented the following enhanced cleaning procedures:
✓ Maximizing Ventilation: Our housekeeping staff will turn on ceiling fans and open windows while cleaning to air out the home. Before leaving the property, they will close and lock all windows.
✓ High-Temperature Laundry: We wash and dry all towels and sheets at high temperatures. Employees put on fresh gloves before making the beds and setting out clean towels.
✓ Thorough Disinfection: After cleaning, we treat all hard and soft surfaces with an EPA-approved disinfectant.

Our housekeepers receive thorough training on proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning chemicals, ensuring every home is both immaculate and safe. We use standard cleaning products that are non-toxic and environmentally friendly, in combination with our EPA-approved disinfectant. Our proprietary housekeeping app provides real-time updates, helping our teams manage their schedules efficiently.
Before Every Guest Stay
Our systematic cleaning method ensures every part of the home is guest-ready:
✓ Interior Cleaning: All surfaces are wiped clean, and any items left behind by previous guests are removed.
✓ Floor Care: Hard-surface floors are swept and mopped, while carpets and rugs are vacuumed.
✓ Fresh Linens: Sheets and towels are freshly laundered and placed on beds and in bathrooms and kitchens.
✓ Dish and Appliance Care: All dishes and utensils are cleaned, and appliances like the refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker are thoroughly cleaned.
✓ Dining and Bath: The dining table and chairs are wiped down, and drawers are clean and organized. Showers, bathtubs, and toilets are thoroughly cleaned.
✓ Trash Removal: All trash cans are emptied and provided with fresh liners.
✓ Outdoor Areas: The BBQ grill is cleaned and the propane tank filled. Exterior grounds are cleared, and outdoor furniture is wiped down. Hot tubs are securely covered, cleaned, and properly balanced.
Safety and Amenities
We routinely inspect homes to ensure all amenities are present and in working order. Safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and first aid kits, is checked for guest protection.
Hassle-Free Arrival
Guests can arrive and relax, as every home is stocked with starter amenities such as hair and body care products, cleaning supplies (where permitted by law), and basics like paper towels, toilet paper, a new sponge, dishwashing soap, and laundry detergent.
